In a game as big and deep as Grand
Theft Auto 3, there is always a number of cheat codes
that manage to surface. We've managed to gather up so many
of them that it deserved a Strategy page all it's own. Feel
free to experiment and have fun. Warning: A few of
these codes can not be turned off. We will note which codes
are permanent next to their entry. If you wish to try those
codes out, save your game first so you can reload the game
after playing with the codes first. Unless otherwise noted,
all of these cheats need to be performed during gameplay.
Get the tank - Circle (x 6), R1, L2, L1, Triangle,
Circle, Triangle (in any city)
Dodo Car - Right, R2, Circle, R1, L2, Down, L1, R1
Take a Leak - Face any wall and press the following
button combo: Up, Down, Up, Down, L2, R1, R2 (x 2), Up, Down,
Up, Down, Up.
Wanted Level:
Lower Wanted Level - R2, R2, L1, R2, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up,
Down
Raise Wanted Level - R2, R2, L1, R2, Left, Right, Left, Right,
