Steering themselves more towards their techno roots, God
Lives Underwater has made a serious step in their musical
progression. Shying away from the more straightforward guitar
sounds of their last album, Space Age is a symphony
of synthesized sounds, samples and drumbeats.
Rearrange, Alone Again and From Your Mouth
are all prime tracks, showing off their newest stage. Taking
more influence from the Chemical Brothers and Prodigy
than Nine Inch Nails and Stabbing Westward,
Space Age is a great step towards defining themselves
solely with their sound.
If you loved the techno sound of their last album, then snatch
this album up, but if you liked the more rock influence, then
give Space Age a listen to see if you like their evolution.
