This new series of actions figures consists of Silent Film Characters Renfield, Dr. Caligari, Nosferatu - Graf Orlok and Cesare the Sleepwalker. Released by Aztech Toys, these toys are extremely detailed, on par with McFarlane toys. Each character comes with an assortment of extra items, making their cost (anywhere from 10 to 15 dollars) worth the expense for anyone interested in quality figures.

With so many re-colored versions hitting the shelves and in such a vast quantity, the resale value down the line is in question. I doubt you'll find a Malebogia in the group. But, you'll be able to find them just about anywhere. Unlike the first couple of toy lines from McFarlane Toys, these seem to have a decent distribution.

One note on the toys, though: Some liberties have been taken with the character design. SInce the original movies were done so long ago, the figures seem to be redesigned with a more current feel to them. If you've seen Dr. Caligari, you'll know what I mean when you see the Dr. Caligari and Cesare figures.

For those who have never seen the original black and white movies, these toys may just get lost in the isles between everything else. For those who have or are just buffs of old horror movies, go give these a look.
