(July 27, 2005) – NIS America, announced today that Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system has shipped to North American retailers and is in stores now. Makai Kingdom is the latest of Nippon Ichi Software’s beloved strategy RPG series that is developed by the core team that brought gamers Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Forget about all the strategy RPGs you have ever played before. Makai Kingdom redefines and sets a new standard for the genre.

Makai Kingdom is also available with Double Jump’s official strategy guide, which includes battle tactics, walkthroughs, hints, and much more.

About Makai Kingdom
In an attempt to rewrite history gone terribly wrong, Lord Zetta, the ruler of netherworld, brought destruction upon himself. When all seemed lost, three evil overlords appeared before Lord Zetta to help him recreate his world. Now Lord Zetta wages war on a new world to become the supreme ruler once again, while the three overlords entertain themselves by creating more trouble for him.
