Gundam Wing is a deeply compelling story with well-developed characters. Much more that Robotech with a strong political feel to it, this futuristic tale weaves plots and character development well. Visually, this is one of the better television series in its consistency and drama.

The characters themselves, though not always likable, are great on their own, showing idiosyncrasies that not even real actors can manage to keep consistently. The fact that some of them are not likeable in the least is what makes them even more successful.

Even though, you can occasionally watch this show and still enjoy it, it is suggested that the viewer try and catch every episode so they can get a full feel of the quality of this series.
